Job Application

We collect and process the personal data of applicants for the purpose of handling the application process. The processing may also take place electronically. This is particularly the case if an applicant submits corresponding application documents to us electronically.
The data processing helps to carry out the application procedure, in particular to establish an employment relationship. The legal basis for this is Article 6(1) b) of the DSGVO in conjunction with Section 26 (1) sentence 1 of the German Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG) or the corresponding national law. If the controller concludes an employment contract with an applicant, the transmitted data will be stored for the purpose of processing the employment relationship in compliance with the statutory provisions.
If the applicant concerned gives his/her consent to this, the data will be stored in the event of non-employment for the consideration of the applicant for future job offers for a period of 12 months (or until any prior revocation of consent) after the conclusion of the application process.

If the controller does not conclude an employment contract with the applicant, the application documents will be deleted two months after notification of the rejection decision, provided that no other legitimate interests of the controller prevent deletion. Other legitimate interest in this sense is, for example, a duty to provide evidence in proceedings under the General Equal Treatment Act (AGG).
